Brie Larson

BrieBrianne Sidonie Desaulniers (born on October 1st, 1989), known professionally as Brie Larson, is an American actress. In her teen years she was famous for supporting roles in comedy films. She has since gone on to play leading roles in blockbuster and independent films. Larson has been awarded several awards such as an Academy Award, a Golden Globe Award as well as a Primetime Emmy Award. Time magazine named Larson as one of the 100 most influential people of the world for the year 2019. Larson was admitted at age six to the American Conservatory Theater's education program. Her acting career started in 1998, when she appeared in a sketch comedy on The Tonight Show With Jay Leno. She was an actor in the sitcom Raising Dad and briefly dabbled with a career in music by releasing her album, Finally out of P.E. In 2005. Larson was in a supporting role in the comedy film Hoot (2006) and Scott Pilgrim vs. The World (2010). She was also in the role of a sardonic teenager on the television series United States of Tara (2012). Larson's breakthrough came when she played an important role in Short Term 12 (2013). She continued to play acting roles as a part-time actress in The Show now (2013) as well as Trainwreck (2015). Larson was awarded the Academy Award for Best Actress in the role of a kidnapping victim of the dramatic Room (2015). Her 2017 film adventure Kong, Skull Island was her first film with a big budget. She then starred in Captain Marvel in Marvel Cinematic Universe (2019).
